[OOC] Memory catch up
"You're getting your hopes up"

[ Cara and Kahlan are walking in a forest. Kahlan is limping ]
Kahlan: We have no choice. Without a Wizard of the First Order to name a new Seeker, we need to find a way to get to the Old World and find Richard. . .
Cara: You need to rest! Stay here. I'll find horses.
Kahlan: I'm fine!
[ Cara stops and Kahlan stops ]
Cara: [ pause. Dramatic ] I need to rest. I'm very tired.
Kahlan: [ gives her a disbelieving grin ] How can you be tired? It's not even mid-morning.
[ Kahlan stops, staring at the sky. Cara catches up to her ]
Cara: What is it?
Kahlan: That cloud . . . It's not moving with the others.
Cara: Why are we discussing the weather?
Kahlan: Because that's a tracer cloud sent by Zed.
Cara: The wizard is dead.
Kahlan: What if those corpses were a trick?
Cara: You're seeing what you want to see.
Kahlan: And you're not seeing what's right in front of you! That's a message sent by Zed!
Cara: I know you're grieving for the wizard, but you need to be strong enough to accept the truth. That he's dead.
Kahlan: You're giving up too easily.
Cara: And you're relying on blind faith.
Kahlan: That's all we have left.
[ She walks off while Cara watches ]
Impressions:
- blind faith is stupid!! when people die they die
- She definitely cares about Kahlan and wants to look out for her.
- But blind faith is still dumb :x

- In the day she was beaten with the agiel and in the night, the rats came and gnawed on her.
- she was alone and scared and wanted to go home to her parents.
- "In this world, it's kill or be killed."
- Finally, she managed to hold the agiel and kill the rats.
- This is going to shake her because she's been so proud to be a Mord'Sith, despite being hated because it made her feel strong and powerful.
